We're Three Years Old!

It's KE's third birthday today :)

I was almost tempted to let this occasion pass without even a whimper because I didn't feel like celebrating this year. However, I began to recall everything that happened since last year, and just how far KE has come from the time I introduced it to the world without fanfare. KE sure has grown and now has a full events schedule and is even considered a part of mainstream media. Fancy that! Who would have thunk it?!

The moment I realized all the blessings we received and all the experiences I've had, directly or indirectly caused by KE, I could not in good conscience let this milestone pass without the necessary acknowledgment.

Part of my yearly ritual is choosing a new planner once the Halloween decors are packed and Santa Claus takes the place of scary and gory masks.

KE has been a testament to my yearly obsession with planners (check out my "versus" posts here and here) and this year is no different. Although I have already made my choice with a Php200, no frills, fire-engine red, hard covered planner from National Bookstore a few weeks back (I chose a daily planner for maximum doodling!!), I still find myself regularly browsing through the available choices for my fill of paper love.

Mineral Makeup

Photobucket - Video and Image Hosting I've always loved makeup but ever since I gave birth I've been so conscious about chemicals in beauty products. Chemicals can get into breastmilk and since I'm still breastfeeding I've gone organic everything. If you've gone to Healthy Options you know 1. That they do have organic beauty products but they're so expensive! 2. The beauty products in Healthy Options do not include makeup, save for the occasional burt's bees lip balm.

So thanks to my friend I found out that they're selling Mineral Makeup in the Philippines na. (I was contemplating on buying online, patay na naman ang credit card).

I don't know how it is with you, but pretty and/or sleek packaging roughly makes up 40%-50% of my criteria for choosing makeup (or anything for that matter). Yup, I'm petty and shallow that way:p So after that little confession, let me just say that the new Hot Brights collection from The Body Shop is gorgeous! Check out those floral designs on the cover, so very unlike the usual solid neutrals of The Body Shop.
