I think it was only a few years back when we Filipinas could only choose from the SM/tiangge gaudy floral swimsuits or the horribly expensive imported swimwear lines, making it the proverbial devil and the deep blue sea.

But thankfully, those days are now over and leading the pack with its Pinay centric collection in a very affordable price range (siyempre, dapat Pinay approved!) is Sassa Swimwear.

Tokyo POSH, home of those groovy and nifty hair extensions, is holding a massive sale that will make your hair curl up with excitement.

After I was through with work, I had a couple of hours to kill in Hongkong before my flight back to Manila. So upon the recommendation of a friend, I hied off to Tsim Sha Tsui to see the high end boutiques in the Rodeo Drive like place there. Unfortunately, my sense of direction has always been iffy at best, so instead of the posh stores, I ended up walking up and down Granville Street (at least I think it was Granville Street) and marveling at the many cute stores.

I won some gift certificates during my previous employer's Christmas party, and so when I found myself at the mall, in front of the Topshop boutique with huge sale signs plastered all over its windows, I knew it was time to redeem them gift certificates.
