I'm very particular about shoes. Actually, I have to be because I easily get blisters and "owies" from ill-fitting pairs. So as culled from years of mostly bad experience, here is my very own points system for shoes.

Ever since I started working and started pounding the icky Manila streets on a daily basis, I've been wearing my rubber shoes to keep my feet protected from those festering and stinky puddles. But rubber shoes are not really the most professional looking of footwear, so I've been on the lookout for a commute-friendly pair (or pairs!) that will still somehow look at least semi-professional.

And whaddayouknow, TOMS suddenly came out with espadrille wedges! Serendipity much?

Trends come and go but classics have more or less parked their butts in our collective consciousness. Case in point, the pique shirt.

Hi again, my name is Char...and I'm still a Crocaholic.

After a busy few weeks at work, I needed a pick-me-up. ;) Thank goodness it's that time of the year again...the Crocs Mega Sale! I went the very first day this year...today (March 17, 2010 is exclusive to Citi Cardholders and Citibank depositors). Ü My original plan was to leave right after work...so around 5:30 am (I work in Alabang).

With the summer sun beating down on us, boots are hardly the ideal footwear of choice for our 7,107 islands. But I'll have you know that these bespoke boots from Divanity Wear only cost Php1,850 a pair! Still interested? I thought you would be:p

I tried to play the whole heels and stilettos game, but at the end of the day, my knees and feet wouldn't let me and would always insist on flats or rubber shoes. Always.

The dream is to slip my feet into a pair of French Soles or Repettos (click here for the past review) and see if they're really worth the big bucks, not including plane fare because they're not available locally. But for now, these two will have to do.
