5 Reasons Why I Love the New Beauty By SM

I recently toured the new Beauty by SM at SM Makati. It’s renovated, it looks really great, and I’ll keep coming back. Here are my reasons:

Passing By Paseo de Sta. Rosa

We were on our way to Tagaytay when we decided to stop by Paseo de Sta. Rosa to check out the outlet stores.

Every time I go to Cebu for a vacation, I go straight to my lolo's house in Moalboal. I figured, what was the point in staying in the city when the beach was calling my name. So you can just imagine my surprise when I saw the new (well at least for me) Ayala Terraces a few weeks back.

everyone in my immediate circle knows how much i love SM.

when i want to hide, i go to SM. when i'm feeling uber sad, i engage in SM retail therapy. when the pressure was too much for me when i was reviewing for the bar, SM was my refuge. and, oh, 75% of my bar review was inside a tiny starbucks at SM sucat.

when i get married, i'd have to have my pre-nup pics at SM.

Making Over the Fitting Room

It's ironic how [tag]fitting rooms[/tag] are usually the most neglected parts in a store when they are actually what make or break the deal for the buyer. How many times have you gone inside a store to pick out a dress to only get dismayed by the ridiculously small, claustrophobic inducing fitting room? Not to mention, the bad lighting and less than sanitary floors. These days, retailers are focusing more attention on fitting rooms after a recent poll indicated that customers wanted to see better and bigger fitting rooms inside boutiques.

Retailers from [tag]Macy's[/tag] to [tag]J.C. Penney [/tag]to [tag]Barneys[/tag] are enlarging dressing rooms and their surrounding areas to accommodate shoppers' friends and families, and adding amenities such as better mirrors and lighting and more hooks.
