Five Reasons Why I Love Glee (And Why You Should Give It a Try!)

1. It’s like High School Musical…on crack! The similarities are aplenty. A jock who sings well? Check. Social outcasts with hidden musical talents? Check. Inevitable jock-nerd (sort of) romantic connection? Check. If HSM is rated G, I’d say Glee is rated PG-15. Not because there’s sex and violence (at least not yet, or I hope none ever!), but because there’s actually some gay characters (does the term gay…and I don’t mean gay as in happy….exist in Disney la-la land?). And illegal drugs. I love it.
Munching on Amazing Cones
I noticed the Amazing Cones food stall in Alabang Town Center a few weeks back but I was always turned off by the long line. Then just this weekend, there was no line whatsoever so I finally seized the opportunity to try out a pizza cone.
Reclaiming My Groove at Urban Groove Salon
I needed to have my dry and damaged hair treated asap so when opportunity came knocking for me to try out Urban Groove Salon and Day Spa in Las Pinas, I jumped at the chance. I pass by its building everytime I go to Sucat by way of Evacom but I always thought it was a computer shop. Upon entering the door, I was greeted by a cozy atmosphere of waves and curves, in muted greens and browns. It was an oasis in the midst of the bustling intersection where it is located.

First off, I'm so happy that Pepeng decided not to make landfall anywhere near Metro Manila or Rizal. I don't mean to be callous to our Central and Northern Luzon brothers and sisters, but with the Metro still reeling from Ondoy's wrath, allow me to be a little selfish in saying "Whew!"
