I know I've said it before, but I'm such a sucker for pretty packaging! And this gorgeous box from Absynte Bath and Beauty is quite the stunner as you can see. Box pa lang, ulam na!:p
Inside were an assortment of skin and hair products with emu oil and argan oil as their star ingredients. Very, very luxe AND every product from Absynte Bath and Beauty is free of parabens, SLES, SLS and mineral oil pa! Impressive.
So far, I've been using the Pure Intention Serum (Php749) as my day moisturizer and love its light and non-sticky texture. It sinks in completely and doesn't leave an oily or heavy feel behind, so even if I layer a tinted moisturizer over it, my skin doesn't oil up like it usually does with my regular day moisturizer.
The serum is meant for all skin types, but I think those with combination or oily skin like myself will benefit most because it helps skin stay matte and fresh. It doesn't have SPF though and smells slightly medicinal, but the smell quickly dissipates upon application so those with sensitive noses can rest assured that it won't cause a sneezing fit.
I'll be trying out the argan oil and emu oil shampoo and conditioner combo soon and I'm crossing my fingers that it will help with the post-pregnancy hair loss that's been plaguing me for the past few months :(
I looked over the Absynthe Bath and Beauty Facebook page but couldn't find any specific information about product availability, only that the products can be purchased through distributors.
