Green Faced and Loving It
One of my quick picker-uppers is to slather on a face mask, curl up in bed and zone out to the Travel and Living Channel (hopefully to a Samantha Brown show). Last Saturday's face mask of choice was Purederm's Purifying Dead Sea Mud Mask.
I bought this in Watson's (aka The Mothership) a few months back and found it, along with a stack of other products, in a bin when I cleaned our room. Thank goodness it hasn't expired yet.

This is a deep cleansing/purifying mask and that's my preferred formula because I have unbelievably oily skin that needs all the deep cleansing it can get.

The mask is a thick green paste that you spread on your cleansed and towel dried face. The mask easily spreads on without any bits falling off, making this one of neater face masks I've ever tried. I also liked how fresh it smelled, with no acrid or medicinal scent to ruin my downtime.

A single pack included enough green goo for a thick application on the face and a thin swipe on the neck, with still some mask left over for good measure.

You're supposed to leave on the mask for 20 minutes, but there's really no need to be conscious about the time because the mask will begin to feel tight and form cracks, thus, signalling that it's time to wash it off.

When washing the mask off, be sure to do so in front of the mirror so that you can check if you have removed all the green stuff off.

A perfect match with our green wall.
Post mask, my face felt smoother but with a squeaky clean feel, which for me means that the Purifying Dead Sea Mud Mask can be a tad drying so it's best to use it only on a weekly basis.
What's your own "me time" ritual?

The first pic of your masked face made me lol. Now I want to try that mask and put on an all black mime costume and weird out the hubby.
Me time is essentially slathering on a watsons hair spa for the requisite 10 minutes and exfoliating with a peppermint body scrub while waiting. Then self mani and pedicure afterwards, while the cuticles of my nails are still soft from the bath, again with products from the Mothership. Very low maintenance, my life.
If you really want to spook out your husband, you should try out a black face mask, kind of like this scrub from Lush that I reviewed: http://kikay.exchange.ph/2011/07/05/review-lush-dark-angels-facial-cleanser
Guaranteed to elicit a reaction:p
