Pretty Things Aplenty - UPDATED!

By Jillsabs - Posted on 11 December 2009

Beauty is its own reason for being. Beautiful things do not need to be rationalized. Ever.

So while it is true that bags are but functional objects, if you can carry a fully functional AND fully beaded bag, why not right? Again, pretty needs no explanation.

Most of the items from Bolsito Bags are meant for special occasions, like these rosette wedding bags:

Angela (Php1,000.00)

Blossom (Php800)

The rest are all decked up in beads and chintz, ready to amp up your evening wear.

Elizabeth (Php1,000.00)

Marina

This peacock inspired piece is called Tyra (Php1,400.00), which for the life of me I just don't get why. Is the peacock fierce? Does it smize (smile with its eyes)?

Another thing that fascinates me is the aptly named fascinator. They have no reason for being other than to beautify and adorn our heads, but really, why must everything be so purpose driven. I like fascinators because they're so darn pretty and they have those tiny veils that make me feel so lady-like.

Sadly, Nooninoos no longer stocks fascinators, but you can still check out the rest of her handmade items in her online shop.

 UPDATE!

Bonsai Fojas of Nooninoos has transferred her fascinators and other accessories to bonnebons.multiply.com. The site is just dripping with head pieces which may or may not be adorned with glitters or feathers. Total eye candy right there.

Aside from the online shop, selected Bonne items are also available at:

Whipped, shop underground above ground.
Unit RS-10 (2nd floor) Makati Creekside Building
(between Milelong Building and Makati Cinema Square)
Amorsolo corner Herrera Streets
Legaspi Village Makati City
Tel. 02-819-2062

*Please address all inquiries or orders to the Bolsito Bags and Bonnebons websites.

Hey! The price tags on these bags are pretty decent! They're very affordable compared to Aranaz! I love Aranaz bags but I just can't afford them... Hehehe!

I love love love all the stuff you featured! My goodness, Kikay Exchange, what will I do without you? Will definitely buy a bag (or two or three) and a fascinator (or two or three!).

Wow! Talk about a major haul! It's gonna be a very, merry Christmas for you then :)

Oh, and regarding the Tyra bag, we named it Tyra because we thought that it might be a bag someone like her would use. It's definitely not a wallflower bag. :)

True that :)

Thanks for clarifying!:)

OH, MY! Are those sold in Manila exclusively? I want! :) For a thousand, that is super affordable.

We are located in Manila but we ship to all places in the Philippines covered by Air21 and Xend. :)

The bags are really affordable especially given the design and quality.

Hi there,
You can wear the fascinators to a chic event or on the street. Check it out on my blog: http://bonnebons.blogspot.com/2009/12/walkway-is-your-runway.html

I also ship internationally.

Thanks!
Bonsai
