Finding My Perfect Match

When I was told that I was to cover the Clinique Find your Perfect Match Event, I immediately thought I was supposed to meet cute guys and date. I got scared, and thought...wait a minute, I don’t think I’m ready for this! But I forced myself to relax, I figured, maybe it’s a match for the right make up...I was right!

The venue was at the Penthouse of Fairways Tower in McKinley Hill. The place was decorated, with fresh white roses on cocktail tables, lovely ladies waiting for guests, and carefully placed Clinique products on a dressed up table. Clinique representative May Samson welcomed me, and invited me to take the electronic quiz to help me find my perfect foundation match.

I proceeded with my quiz, and answered questions, such as “What foundation do you prefer?” and “How does your skin respond to sun without sun protection?”

The computer matched me with - NEW Clinique Perfectly Real Radiant Skin Compact Makeup SPF29/PA+++. I was skin type #1. I was fascinated with the idea of a foundation that perfectly matched my skin tone. Could such an animal actually exist?

I road tested it during my son's party and here's how I looked without flash.

Fascination has now officially turned into belief in "The One".

May told me that Clinique offers “Matching” quizzes in all Clinique branches, and encourages everyone to try them. Foundations, like clothing and men, have to be carefully selected. We CANNOT settle for anything less! So go to a Clinique branch, take the quiz, and find your perfect match!
