A Preview of The Body Shop's Hot Brights (Win goodies from The Body Shop!)
I don't know how it is with you, but pretty and/or sleek packaging roughly makes up 40%-50% of my criteria for choosing makeup (or anything for that matter). Yup, I'm petty and shallow that way:p So after that little confession, let me just say that the new Hot Brights collection from The Body Shop is gorgeous! Check out those floral designs on the cover, so very unlike the usual solid neutrals of The Body Shop.
The Hot Brights Makeup Collection was strangely enough launched just about the same time when the rainy season started. Whatthe?! But there's apparently a reason behind this seeming madness. With the weather as dreary and gloomy as it is, why wear neutrals and add to the already somber mood right? Brighten your disposition with loud and cheery colors! And incidentally, the rainy season also ushers in the start of the school year for students and what better way to make an entrance into your old alma mater than with a perky attitude and an even perkier look. Ok, now I get it.
The blush (Php1,195) comes with a cheek color and a highlighter, while the eye color (Php695) comes with two complementing colors and has a matching eyeliner (Php550), with both matte and glittery ends.
For fans of The Body Shop's Lip and Cheek Stain, you may want to check out it's latest incarnation via the Hot Brights Lips and Cheeks (Php795). The Lip and Cheek Stain is now partnered with a sheer gloss for double lip loving.

MY favorite is the shea body butter cream. not only it smells good, it also moisturize my body like never before. besdes what is a beautiful face with dry body. how will you fell good about yourself if you dont take care of the rest of your body.
I love Body Shop's cheek and lip tint! Been using it since it was rolled out via its original packaging back in 2001, it used to cost only Php399 back then, I think...
Aside from the convenience of having a double purpose make-up item, it's easy to apply, it looks very healthy and natural on skin and lips too.
It is also my sisters-in-law's favorite. In fact one of them based in the US now still insists on buying the item here in Manila. She says the one sold here gives out a much better effect than those that are available in the US. It can be psychological or really true, nevertheless this item is really the best!
I plan to use its Seaweed Mattifying day cream soon as I read somewhere its good on the skin too.
Will comment about that later once I get to use it.

Love the lip and cheek tint, it makes a good base for my powder blush and is a staple at pool/beach events. :)

The Body Shop's Flawless Skin Protecting Foundation SPF 25 is my favorite since it protects me from the harmful damages of the sun and it keeps my face looking flawless!
Body Shop's strawberry born lippy and lip and cheek tint are my go to beauty essentials. They're simply the best!
my favorite would have to be body shop's concealer pencil. even men have the occassional break outs, and the pencil helps camouflage redness and blemishes, so my girlfriend barely notices.
i love the peppermint cooling foot spray! :) a great way to relax tired feet. =)
The olive dry oil mist is one that I cannot live without. It really helps my dry skin from becoming like a blackboard (you know when you can actually write on your skin because of its dryness... the olive dry oil mist prevents that from my skin). Not only do I love the smell, but it helps retain the moisture of my skin right after bath.
I love their Born Lippy Lip balm in Watermelon! Love watermelon scented beauty products :) Sadly, it's hard to find it :c
im currently loving my lip and cheek tint. its everybodys favorite coz it puts on a subtle blush that is not too over the edge. it suits my simple look because it blushed my cheeks naturally. plus its a 2 in 1 since i can also use it on my lips. i love the body shop products since they use different kinds of natural ingredients and has some vitamins which are good for my skin.
i love the tea tree concealer. i love how it conceals the blemish and has tea tree to fight the bacterias! it's definitely every woman's defense and protection against pimples.
Love their lip and cheek tint. it gives life to my pale skin! ^_^
Here's why i like TBS:
1. they make the most wonderful body washes with constantly new scents being added
2. i love their nail buffer which i have for so so long already! kindy dirty, but still very effective. definitely worth the price
3. how they support the differnt advocacies of women. i remember their promos the one against women abuse and the construction of a children's room at east ave med center, and fight against hiv thorugh proceeds of selling lip balms. i love buying from companies like these since i can benefit from buying their products due to their nice quality and yet people less fortunate can also benefit from my purchase since proceeds are donated to the corresponding beneficiaries.
I really love the Body Shop Lip & Cheek Tint. Eversince I started using it(that was like 5 years ago), my friends thought that I naturally have that rosy cheeks! Hahaha! It's really amazing! It helps me be confident especially during client meetings and be proud of myself because I know that I look just so natural and fresh!
I love their body butters.. I'm an avid fan of them. I'm trying to try the different scents available. I buy a different kind of scent after I finish one. Im currently using the papaya one. I hope I win. Im currently low on budget, but I would really love to try the Hot and Brights Lips and Cheeks! Weeeeeeeee......
I love the born lippy in strawberry! I've been using this for quite some time already. My mom bought it for me since I have very dry lips. and it works! plus I love the yummy smell! also makes me feel oh so girly without being loud! ;p
the lip and cheek tint of TBS is my all-time favorite... started using this during college and up to now in my working days, it's still my staple...
my absolute fave is their Body Butter! I't gives you soft skin without the sticky feeling. ;)

body shop's body butter are the best for me. I've tried all the variant and loved them. the scent stays all day and the moisturizing that you need is superb.
my favorite would be born lippy,nice natural gloss and smells really nice its been my lipbalm ever since highschool,and the tea tree oil,it really help dry out my zits.

But if I ABSOLUTELY had to choose it would be the yummy pots of Born Lippy lipbalm! I remember it being one of the things that my best friend and I would bond over. I had Mandarin, Strawberry, Cherry and my (and my best friend's too) all-time FAVE: The Limited Edition CRANBERRY Lipbalm from some 6-7 Christmases ago! ^_^
It's the best kikay kit staple because there's absolutely nothing to it! Just dab some on your lips and it takes care of the rest! ^_^ LOVE IT!
i love the body shop's papaya body butter because it is the only papaya product that smells great for me. it smells good and gives the moisturizing i need. another is their moonflower body spray. the scent brings back my good ol' high school days. :)
In general, I think The Body Shop's products are really worth the money you pay. First, the emphasis is more on the quality of the products, rather than the packaging. Second, they have pioneered some of the fair trade, gender equality, and eco friendly practices in business and have proved to be a success. I have always been a patron of TBS products for years, and I must admit I've got plenty of TBS cosmetics on my drawer! However, I do adore the Vitamin E Face Mist, which I just cannot do without, esp. in this hot weather. Not only does it moisturises and refreshes my skin, it also acts as a make-up 'fixer', allowing my make-up to stay longer. ;)
Definitely the lip and cheek tint! it's my all time favorite bodyshop product! and i love their uber soft animal friendly make-up brushes! :)
My favorite Body Shop product(s) are Olive Dry Oil Mist, after taking a bath it leaves my skin soft and smooth plus I love the smell second is the Lip & cheek Tint which stayed the whole day and doesn't required me to retouch.
Spirit of Moonflower is a favorite. Sadly though, product is discontinued. I'm still keeping my 30%full Spirit of Moonflower shower gel just so I can smell the scent again.
my most favorite TBS product is their white musk line, i also have their sun lustre bronzer which is the only bronzer i use because it gives the most amazing color on my cheeks.
My favorite product from the Body Shop is their Camomile Mild Makeup Remover. It doesn't hurt my eyes and very gentle to the skin.
Don't you just hate chapped, dry lips? When talking to people, I usually focus on what they're saying that's why I tend to stare at their mouth. That's why I'm very self conscious of how my puckers look. I always want them to be healthy and kissable!^ ^,
I like buying lip balms that not only smell good but also taste great hehe. So I'm absolutely addicted to Body Shop's range of 'Lippy' or Lip Balms. Strawberry, raspberry, mint, chocolate, cranberry- I love using them all!^ ^,

My favorite product would to be their Cheek Gel Blush in Grape! It gives me the most natural glow & it stays on the whole day! Perfect for me, a single mom. And it doesn't hurt that I got it on sale! Kudos to Body Shop for cruelty-free products :-)
I am a big fan of the White Musk line! Love the lotion and the EDT, the scent is just right for everyday wear.
I also love The Body Shop's Divide and Multiply mascara. The fine wand separates my teeny lashes fine and does not leave any unsightly clump. Perfect for a polished look!
The Vitamin E lip balm also works wonders to my perpetually dry and flaking lips. It doesn't hurt that it smells uber yummy too :)

i lurve their tea tree line (esp the facial foam cleanser)! same as their raspberry bornlippy and the cheek and lip stain! they've got great yummy stuff and i hoard during sales to give to friends and family! ^_^
My favorite is their Melon Seed Dry Oil Mist. It definitely revives the good 'ol days when my yaya would put baby oil on my skin after taking a warm bath at night (to help me sleep). The Dry Oil Mist makes my skin smooth and moist without the oily feeling. And I love the scent (my boyfriend,too). :)
I also love their Spirit of Moonflower line. Very classic and romantic. The scent's just so unique:)

The Born Lippy Lip Balm! Any of the pink berry flavors would do! It has been such a kikay kit staple since high school. :)
I love TBS' lip and cheek tint. It's the only thing I put on my face aside from my usual light dusting of foundation. Hehehe.
