Review of Neutrogena Deep Clean Line (Plus win Neutrogena gift packs!)

I'm not the type who likes trying new facial products. When I find one that works, I usually stick with that same product.
Anyways, mid-September, my sister-in-law received a box of goodies from Neutrogena. Perfect timing since I was running outta facial wash. =P I told her I'd try a few products and submit a review. So here are my thoughts:
- All the products worked well with my sensitive skin. I tried the Deep Clean line: the Energizing Foaming Cleanser, the Invigorating Ultra-Foam Cleanser and the Invigorating Dual Action Toner.
- I have normal to dry skin, which sometimes becomes oily in my t-zone. I always apply moisturizer after cleaning my face, but for the sake of the review, I skipped this step a few times to really observe if my skin would get dry. The facial washes didn't have a drying effect at all. And I didn't feel my skin tighten as much as with my previous facial wash which is great!
- The facial wash leaves a menthol-y fresh feeling so try not to wash so close around your eyes. I learned that the hard way. =P
- Both washes work well for me, but I prefer the Invigorating Ultra-Foam Cleanser. I leave it in the shower since I like using it on a daily basis. Turns out my husband uses the same cleanser as well. The Energizing Foaming Cleanser feels like it has some micro-beads but very few compared to the previous facial wash we used to use. I like using the Energizing one to wash off makeup.
- The Invigorating Ultra-Foam Cleanser seems like it'll last a while. The instructions suggest pumping twice. I find that one pump is enough to wash my face. With the Energizing Foaming Cleanser, one little squeeze does the trick.
- The Invigorating Dual Action Toner doesn't sting as much as Eskinol. I used to use Eskinol a lot during my college days. I was surprised when I used the Dual Action and I didn't feel much of anything. If you use the toner right after using one of the facial washes, the mentholy feel is doubled…maybe even tripled. =P I don't use the toner on a daily basis though. I usually use it after washing the makeup off of my face and when I feel that my skin has been exposed to lots of dirt.

Overall, I'm satisfied with the Neutrogena Deep Clean products that I tried. I think my husband is satisfied as well. Thanks, Jill, for the samples!

No particular facial wash for me I use a different one from time to time. so long as it's mild:) I like celeteque and dove bar soap though.
I love using johnson's baby bath soap for my face:) I know it's mild since it's made for babies but I really love the light baby scent it has:) Oh. I use it all over my body too. I also use celeteque sometimes and yes if there's a neutrogena bar at home I also use it:)
My favorite facial cleanser in Clean & Clear makeup dissolving cleanser.
>Akin Pure Facial Gel (P700.00+) twice a day
>I skip the toner
>Olay 7-in-1 anti-aging/anti-blemish moisturizer
>Murad Exfoliating AHA/BHA Facial Wash (P1200.00) three times a week
These are the only products that got rid of my acne, help fade my pimple scars, make my skin glow. I really swear by these!
I heard raves about Cyleina black pearl. Might try it one of these days :-)
I love Neutrogena. I have industrial-strength oily skin and neutrogena does the job of keeping me blemish free even if my skin is that oily (I need to use 1 oil film/hour). The Deep Clean Invigorating Toner removes dirt and grime other toners (e.g. Eskinol) leave behind.
I use cyleina black pearl. there i said it.no longer a secret.haha =)
tea tree oil facial wash from body shop. :D
Cetaphil
Clean & Clear
By Nature Handmade Soaps :))
Aveeno soap and facial wash does wonders to my skin, but I also hope to win in this contest!
I love Aveeno Clear Complection Foaming Cleanser. It's not drying on the face and I don't breakout with it. It actually helps prevent breakouts with it's Salicylic Acid content.
I love cetaphil because of its subtlety. I have very sensitive skin and anything too harsh makes my facial skin dry and flakey. It's relatively cheaper and it's recommended by ALL the dermas I've consulted with.
Hi KE! I'm an avid user of Neutrogena Deep Clean Facial Cleanser. Im pregnant right now,so far only Neutrogena gave me a glowing skin.
I'm loving Mioggi foremilk cleansing powder. Cleans squeaky clean but still makes skin feel hydrated after. Had to ask my brother to scout for this one in HK after reading good reviews about it in this HK magazine.
I use Pond's flawless white facial wash =)
POND'S has been my facial wash for MORE THAN 10 YEARS.
i have combination skin and theirs is the only formulation SO FAR that can keep my skin oil-, pimple- and blemish-free.
it does not dry or irritate my skin.
plus it's affordable so maintaing good skin is quite easy =)
im using neutrogena oil free acne wash, i luv this product coz it wont over dry my skin, and help me prevent more acne breakouts. currently im looking for product(toner/wash) with mint feel, this can be the product i'm looking for! hope to get free gifts!
I use Avon Pure Pore-Fection cleanser and Toner which I find quite good. When they're finished I'll try Neutrogena for a change and see how it goes.
My current favourite is Elizabeth Arden Green Tea Skincare Purifying 3-in-1 Cleanser/Toner/Exfoliant. I like it because its 3 products rolled into one thus saving me time and money. I'd love to try Neutrogen though, seriously.
My favorite is Neutrogena deep-clean foaming cleanser. I've always been partial to facial washes with rich lather, because they're more fun to use :D And my skin really does feel squeaky-clean after using Neutrogena!
I use Neutrogena deep clean gentle scrub and foaming cleanser. These products really deliver great results. I also use Shu Uemura Sakura cleansing oil, especially when I have to remove make-up.
Ponds Daily Regenerating Facial Foam. It's very mild which is what my face needs because I have a very sensitive skin and it's what I have in our bathroom. Well, it doesn't hurt to try Neutrogena for a change :-)
I use Cetaphil cause it's so gentle.
It is perfect for girls with sensitive skin.
I use clinique facial soap to remove the excess oils from my face and followed by the clarifying lotion no. 1. Both products are quite ok in terms of maintaining my skin acne free but i always longed for a product that gives me that fresh feeling after putting them on... something invigorating, as what you said.
when i was in college (so many years ago), neutrogena was my absolute favorite. an aunt used to send me boxes of these. but now that i have a baby and i'm on a fairly tight budget, i discovered a good alternative, cyleina black pearl soap. :)
St. Ives apricot scrub once every two days then gluta soap on days that I did not use the scrub.
I never used any facial wash or moisturizer until I was in college. I used cetaphil most of the time and recently tried the ponds cream. However, it did not suit me.
Since I have this sort of hormonal imbalance, my skin is really unpredictable at times. For a week it can be dry and flaky, then come next week, it seemed oily with little bumps. After a recent checkup with my OB, I found out that the male hormones are dominant than my female hormones. That also caused my skin to be different at times.
Neutrogena seemed to be a good product to try! :)
vmv superskin spring fresh for oily skin is my current facial wash, i say current coz i've tried quite a lot and have yet to find one that will give me a fresh, clean feeling without making my face papery-dry. so the quest continues....it would be great to try this one out if I win :)
Im also an Olay line user - from Cream Cleanser for Oily/Blemish, Toner and Moisturizer..I have tried the Neutrogena Deep Clean Cleanser before and I find it good for my face too...if I win, I'll get to try the new line for free ..wink*wink**
i'm using cetaphil for my face since high school.
Im currently using Olay cream cleanser for blemish free skin! I've tried a handful of facial wash already such as L'oreal, Ponds, Olay, Cetaphil, Nivea. Still, Im sticking to Olay :)
Plus after the facial wash, I use Olay toner and Olay moisturizer. It really works on my skin! :)
currently using cetaphil but alternate it with garnier to exfoliate. had used celeteque too :)
i use pond's age miracle facial wash. :) but i would definitely love to try neutrogena as my mom swears by it! :)
I am currently using kojie-san (kojic soap) because it does not give me any outbreaks no matter what the weather is or how less sleep i get. but since it's a SOAP it can be a bit drying.. that's why i alternate it with cleleteque facial wash... which is non comedogenic and has NMF (natural moisturizing factor).
i haven't tried neutrogena yet.. but i'm very willig to try it if it really does what it says.

wowza, dami na!
I use Leyende's Facial Wash, and sometimes, a bar of soap from By Nature Handmade Soaps!
I have been using Pond's facial wash for the longest time. I'd be glad to try neutrogena for a change.
I've been using celeteque ever since. i have an oily face. i want to win the gift pack so i could try the neutrogena..hope i win..:)
I use leyende's clean slate and vmv:)
I hsve been a neutrogena user for the longest time (pure mild facial cleanser). It suits my "hyper" sensitive skin and always assures that my skin is absolutely clean. However, I have been thinking of trying out deep clean line because of my normal to oily type of skin, with pores that are like "basins" catching all the dirt (yuk!)inthe air. I guess just like many, i am also too afraid to try new stuff, even if its from the same brand.
But its nice to be proved wrong once in a while :-)!
Leyende's Clean Slate. It's organic so you can be assured of a chemical-free wash everytime. It has a nice mild scent to it, too. :)
I use St. Ives Apricot Scrub and Cetaphil alternately. :)

I love the mild scent of Neutrogena. I really noticed that it cleans my skin well, removing all the residue left from my make up and it doesn't dry the skin...and it I have lesser pimples on my forehead now. plus I heard from a lot of girls that this brand is one of the mildest.
it's affordable for P190.00... i hope i win.. hahaha.... so i can have a spare when mine runs out.. hahaha.... =)
i love it!
=)
My favorite is Cetaphil and Celetque. I use the former to cleanse my skin if I have makeup on or if it feels incredibly dry. Otherwise, I use Celeteque :)
I've been using Pond's facial wash since I learned to use facial wash. :D It does the trick for me, and I'm not the adventurous type when it comes to these things.
I'd like to try the Neutrogena line though, if I get to win. :)
Celeteque! But I'm still looking for the perfect facial wash for me. I still get breakouts once in a while...
I used to use Pond's antibacterial facial wash but I got irritated with the new fragrance so I switched to Garnier PureA facial wash, its actually good. Hope I can win the gift pack.
I love the Face Shop's Brightening Ricewater Cleansing wash. Smells so nice and is really gentle on my skin - doesn't dry it out or irritate it!
clean and clear foaming face wash always keeps my skin pimple free! =)
I've used Ponds, Celeteque, Cetaphil, St. Ives, Nivea but my favorite is definitely Shisheido. :)
ponds perfect matte and st ives apricot scrub (for sensitive skin) :)
I use Pond's. But I'm getting a break out right now so I m hoping to try something else. Hope I win! :)
