4Eggs Planner : The Super Cute Alternative

While most people devote their last month of the year to consuming large amounts of designer coffee to obtain a planner - I prefer the path of least resistance. I like to shop or wait for corporate giveaways. Both options require less time, money, effort, and let's not forget - fewer calories. Yes, there are a slew of OTHER planners sitting on store shelves waiting for you to scribble your life in appointments, notes, musings and expletives in their pages.

One of the cutest ones I've come across is the 4Eggs planner. Slightly, smaller than standard sized planners - this absolutely cheery alternative is bound to fit in your handbag or office tote.

The planner comes in two variants - Pink or Blue. The card stock used for the cover could be thicker. I foresee possible plastic laminate peeling off and it's otherwise crisp corners being squished after a few months of use. The white wire binding, however, is clean and free of sharp cut edges that tend to ruin bag linings and clothes, if not cause minor injuries.

The planner features an uncluttered and clean pastel layout on paper smooth and thick enough for scribblings in signpen. There are absolutely no advertisements (yay!) Every monthly divider features an illustration by Joana Francesca Tripon and is followed by an article or tips and tricks for activities for each month. Days of the month are laid out in weekly spreads. Each day has a column for your appointments and a little box at the bottom for your miscellaneous notes and reminders. Holidays are appropriately noted and marked.

While this planner doesn't have every sections to cover every conceivable OC female need, it covers the basics by providing pages for your contacts and other notes.

This simple and super cheery planner is a good choice for those of you who are looking for something else (and would rather not use corporate give-aways or those ubiquitous and bland navy, black, or brown planners.)
