pretty paper planners

By richelle - Posted on 26 November 2006

For some, a pda phone or a pda just can't replace a paper planner. yes, some people are just old fashioned. In my case, the digital age has yet to come up with a financially friendly manner to satiate my need to scribble my plans, see the enitre week in a glance and occasionally staple or stick mementos on to my planner.

Planners have always been good & useful gifts. Here are a few planners that go beyond the corporate black/brown/blue/green leatherette and stark white paper.

2007 Dayplanners by PaperBlanks

Aside from the gorgeous ornate covers all the planners contain 144 (weekly) or 366 (daily) cream pages. The planners are available in both a weekly (horizontal or vertical) and daily format. Each planner also has dual ribbon markers, a memento pouch, a removable address book. The planners come in several sizes to fit every person's needs. Mini (4 x 5 1/2) Slim (3 1/2 x 7), Midi (5 x 7), Maxi (5 1/4 x 8 1/4) and Pro (7 x 10).

Planners cost anywhere from 700 to 1000 Php (depending on the size you decide to get.) Paperblanks planners and journals are available at Powerbooks.

Does anyone know if Michelle Simone released a 2010 planner? I had the 2007 one, and I really liked it.. I'm in search for the perfect planner for 2010... Help?!

Hi Anon,
You may want to check out Powerbooks if they have a Michelle Simone planner or ask them if there is a Michelle Simone planner for 2010.

The last time I saw an MS planner was in Powerbooks, but I think that was for 2008 pa yata.

Hi.. I know it's kinda too late.. I already have the Starbucks 2008 Planner.. I wanted the Starbucks 2007 Planner so bad as well!! Unfortunately, I didn't know that many people sell their planners for cheaper prices..

Do you know of anyone who still has an unused Starbucks 2007 Planner who is willing to sell it for at most 200 bucks? I just want to have a copy for collection's sake.. :(

the belle de jour is always out of stock in nbs and powerbooks (in alabang and makati). i saw one last copy in nbs alabang and immediately snapped it up.

it's like a girly yearbook with a planner on the side, although the planner portion is too small nga as chel said. and i find it a little too big to carry around all the time, unless you're the type who always brings around a big-ass bag. but it is really cute :)

the planner's great! got one just yesterday. its worth more than the one you'll get by chugging down 21 starbux coffees...

summer: are you still selling your starbucks planner? i'm very interested

I must say, planners are effective marketing tools. I love makeup and body care products especially those from Philosophy (I love dessert scented body washes and creams) so it would be easy for me to blow 7500 for more than a year's supply of bath products. I am halfway my Beauty Bar promo card, but I don't think I'll fill it out for the sole purpose of getting a planner (If I fill it out, though, then good).

I'm thinking of getting belle de jour instead. I'm not really sure if I can use the coupons, though. I just like the total girly, fashionable feel of the Belle de Jour Planner.

the belle je jour planners are only available in crossings, the ramp. so the people from the south have to (1) go to crossings or (2) wait for the planners to become available in national bookstore or powerbooks alabang (but apparently there's still no definite date when it will actually be available).

and they don't ship, which is really a letdown.

here are the branches which will soon carry the belle de jour planners: National Bookstore (Greenhills Missouri, Robinsons Ortigas, SM Megamall, Shangri-la Mall, Podium, Glorietta, Greenbelt, Market Market, Cybermall, Southmall, Alabang) and Powerbooks (Greenbelt, Megamall, Alabang, Glorietta, Shangri-la).

for the people in visayas and mindanao, it's time to get creative and pull some strings.

CHAR: i have to wait for it to become available here in the south. i don't think i'll be going to crossings any time soon (too OA to go all the way there for a planner). i hope i can get in time to send to you :)

Anonymous's picture

I've been going on a caffeine overload just to get the Starbucks planner too (12 stickers to go pa!) but now I want the PaperBlanks Dayplanner too.

Anonymous's picture

Anonymous's picture

the paperblanks planners are gorgeous, i had a pda and nothing beats a paper planner:-)

Anonymous's picture

blairbitch >> even the most expensive of these cost less than chugging 21 servings of starbucks coffee. :)

Anonymous's picture
