kikay kit - [n] bag of prettification essentials carried around by girls (and sometimes boys) Every girl or almost every girl has got one of these. Here is what's in mine.

- body shop born lippy (raspberry) - available at body shop
- bloom eye shadow (rose) - available at beauty bar
- nivea caregloss & shine - available at most if not all drugstores and H&B sections
- blistex medicated lip ointment - available at pcx
- mediplast plaster strips - available at most if not all drugstores

- burt's bees lip shimmer (watermelon) - available at beauty bar

Explanation (This is where I will try to explain why i carry all that around.) 5,7,8,12,13,14,15 & 16 - i'm always wearing at least lip balm. if i need color, i always wear more than one product (little tedious but it works). it's usually lip balm first, followed by colored lipgloss and topped with nivea caregloss (for extra shine). the lip balm prevents things from getting sticky and the care gloss prevents the color from wearing off too quickly. 17 & 18 - wearing eyeliner makes a world of difference. it instantly makes you look made up. i am averse to using things that have little brushes or need sharpening, so i'm a huge fan of art deco liquid eyeliner simply because it comes in pen/marker form.i'm currently using maybelline creme pencils that need absolutely no sharpening. (revlon color stay has better staying power but they were out of stock when i went shopping.) i use liquid liner for the top lids and creme pencil for the lower lids. 2 & 6 - i dont really use eyeshadow very often i use the blusher as eyeshadow since it's in such a nice warm flattering color. then there's the sparkly pink eyeshadow which is surprisingly flattering on most people when used in moderation. 3 & 4 - best used for keeping hair out of your face. i love goody's ouchless rubbers. although they're a bit pricey they are a good investment. the ouchless rubbers sold for 30php a pair at pinkbox are just as good. i buy my clips at the children's department :) 9 & 11 - These are great for getting rid of grime and shine. I usually buy Pigeon baby wipes because they're softer and mild enough for use on my face. Giggles is a decent enough alternative. I love Gatsby's powdered oil sheets. It absorbs oil and dusts you off with a little powder - how great is that?! haha. Anyway I prefer them to oil films because I tend to tug on my face when using oil films. i think everything else is self explanatory. so, what's in your kit?

3. Victoria Secret Very Sexy Lipstick- In body heat. i get compliments every time i use this. great quality, very moisturizing and did not leave blotchy stains when taken off
4. Ever Bilena Eye Pencil- when used as eyeliner, a bit hard and tugged my eye so used it as eyebrow pencil
5. Palladio liquid eyeliner in Lavender- stays but just not absentmindedly rub your eye
6. Paris Hilton perfume-I think the heiress smells like green ellips
7. Maybelline mineral foundie- i prefer loreal over this
8. loreal mineral blush- like ko xa. kc dati if naglagay ako ng blush i get breakout pero dito wala
9. shu uemura unlimited- in yellow, with glitters. people always ask about it they say it's nice. advantage cguro bagay kc maputi ako..
10. body shop glitters eyeliner- even tho some peeps get concerned it will get inside my eye, hindi nmn, ok lang xa pa epek, para maiba nmn.
All in all i think you always get what you paid for. ok na yung mejo mahal pero quality hindi ka magka break out. especially for sensitive skin like mine.yun lang po....

Hi! I carry these with me at all times:
1. Lactacyd feminine wipes or any baby butt wipes out there as long as it's soap free. Be gentle to your privates.
2. Oil blotters, any brand. Clean and Clear usually.
3. Alcohol for sanitizing.
4. Chapstick lipbalm. Cheap and effective. And/or Burt's Bees lip shimmer in Coffee. It's good and it looks like lipstick!! So I don't carry lipstick.
5. Tweezer. I like the Revlon one. Never know what and when you must tweeze! Aside from brows.
6. Maybelline Dream Mousse blush in Peach Satin. I like the mousse foundation too but I don't carry it around.
7. Palladio eye stick treatment conclealer in yellow. It's really yellow so I only put a little bit. I hate it when makeup looks dull prink or grey so I use yellowish makeup. This one's good for theyes but I use it wherever I'm dark. But not for blemishes! This is moisturizing which is the last thing a pimple needs.
8. Blemish concealer. Maybelline and Revlon have theirs. I never know when I'll get a pimple.
9. Eyebrow powder and a good applicator brush. Mine came from Sephora in the States and the brand's called Anastasia. But Mac's is great and available here in the Phils. Just go to Rustans.
9. Any brown powder eyeshadow. Maybelline Colorwear trio eye shadow in Three Chocolate would be a good choice. One of the colors in the trio is white and shimmery. Try it on the inner corners of your eyes and ur cupid's bow.
10. Mascara. Any kind from Maybelline is good. Accidental white lashes from concealer or foundation looks stupid.
11. Sugar-free gum of any brand. I like Trident, it tastes good.
12. Ever Bilena lipliner in For Nudes. I like making my lips look round and this is soo cheap!!
13. Lotion. I buy Bath and Body anti-bacterial lotion is available in that perfume store in Robinsons Galleria. I forgot the name.. Well, any lotions ok as long as it smells ok.
14. Oracare or Crest mouthwash. Either one is good coz they're alcohol-free.
15. Anti-bacterial soap in a plastic container. My soap's a melted Safeguard in an empty Ever Bilena Body Butter box.
16. Revlon Colorstay eyeliner in black. Get the retractable one not the pencil. It really does stay, I consider it the best. Department store eyeliners are really nice but unneccessary. Who needs eyeliner to be that high-quality anyway? Not me. Revlon's pretty quality enough for me.
17. Shiseido Powdery Foundation in I20. It looks good and a little goes a long way. Powders are usually the only slurge-worthy makeup. Cheap powders just look unnatural especially in pictures. Cheap powders ruin memories coz they're not flash-friendly, making the face look like a mask.
I think that's all a lady needs but then I'm just 16. You can buy cheap stuff without looking cheap as long as you have class. I just splurge when I can't resist. I am only on allowance after all. But I'm so happy. Prettiness isn't bought anyway, so why bother? And if you're pretty, why spend on makeup? Spend on maintainance like cremes and mositurizers. I'll add anti-aging stuff to the list when I'm old.

Makeup remover sheets from watsons whitening/moisturizing (it's a good one)
Godiva white licorice lipbalm (it lightens the pigment of your lips and hey! you can also use it to lighten your nipples waaahhh)

1. Nivea Caregloss & Shine - I don't wear lipsticks and this product is best for me.
2. Palmer's Dark Chockolate & Peppermint Lip Butter - yummy and has subtle shine. I love it.
3. Lancome Aqua Fusion Tinted Moisturiser (01 Natural) - I stopped wearing heavy make up and this product is wonderful! Amazingly stays for hours - I tested it in hot Ghanaian sun - and has no make up look.
4. Lancome Pure Focus T-Zone - I have shiny face (T zone) and this lotion is best for me.
5. Lancome Maquicomplet concealer (01 Claire Dore) - perfect for finishing touches. I use it all over my face.
6. Black, waterproof mascara - at the moment I have Lacome Hypnose and Benefit BadGal.
7. Elizabeth Arden Eight Hour Cream - perfect for everything, from lips to skin problems.
8. Wet tissues - I love Nivea Refreshing Facial Cleansing Wipes.
9. Few cotton buds.
Ooooh your kikay kit is very practical and smart! The only thing i want to share with you girl is the wipes! Guess what? There is this product called BLEST Baby wipes u know? Theirs is the BEST. Talk about freshening up? Blest. You said soft and perfect for our sensitive skin. Try it girl. You'll love it. Practical and Smart choice :)Tell me how you like it ok? My Kikay kit:
1. Smashbox UnderEye Concealer and Primer Compact -(P 1250, beauty bar) - a great under-eye concealer hides lines, uneven tone around the eyes, and most specially... darkness!! The secret to a fresh face, a concealer does everything, sometimes i even stop here :) i just think the primer makes the concealer appear chalky so i dont use the primer at all.
2. Nars Lipgloss in Stella (P 1350, rustan's essences) - i just love this lipgloss and the shade, it brings out a very natural lip tone color, with a little bit of shimmer, and the shine is just right.. perfect, unlike other brands that make the lips appear too glossy.
3. Nars Blush in Lovejoy (P 1350, rustan's essences) - i like the way this blush matches my medium skin tone.. it gives a highlight to cheekbones and an excellent contour. The color is brown with a hint of deep rose with a very very soft barely there shimmer. The only thing i didnt like about this is that it's difficult to spread once it came in contact with the skin. other than that it's perfect.
4. MAC Powerpoint Eyeliner in Gilded White (P 850, Marrionaud, glorietta (in front of bon appetit) - a great way to highlight the inner corner of the eye and give it a natural opening and lift, the shade may appear to metallic if you overdo it but just the right amount can make your eyes look dazzling when light reflects it. The only negative thing is, it's tricky to put on. it's not spreadable like a kohl pencil, if you rub it when it's in contact with the skin it'll cause an unrepairable smudge.
5. Crabtree and Evelyn Nantucket Powder, Burt's Bees Lip Balm Gloss in strawberry, Burt's Bees Hand Salve (an excellent hand moisturizer), Blistex Complete Moisture Balm (best lipbalm so far), Nail buffer and nail clip.
i'm a fan of avon products. their product suits me really well and it's fitted for asian skin. i have their new line, "simply pretty". it's an alternative for colortrend. i love the blush: rosy cheeks, coz it's perfect for a morena like me and for day wear. i also love their lipliner in nude. it has strong stay-on-power. just line your lips with this and top it off with a pinkish lip balm... great n0-make up look. chapstick is a must. i'll also recommend the godiva whitening lip gloss. i used to be a chain smoker and this resulted to heavily pigmented lips. after i quitted, i used this product regularly and my lips are getting lighter, it does work!
i tried the gel liner of mac but the staying power of bobbi brown is actually better.i find it so frustrating....and you know what,i tried the liquid liner of maybelline and it stayed!considering it is so affordable...m looking forward to this liner of mac coming soon that accdng.to this person i talked to sa shang rustan's, i won't be disappointed.he showed me the catalogue..will check revlon colorstay liner also.
bembet >> the art deco liner is great because it's in pen form so it's easy to apply. it takes just a bit for it to dry. it stays on all day - withstanding oiliness, minor absent0minded eye rubbing but it wont survive heavy duty crying. my cousin uses MAC gel liner, and says it's great - just enough play time, and stays on until you want it to come off. i have yet to try it. have you tried it?

i want to try that liner in pen/ink form.i read about lancome's pero i haven't tested it yet.i am ALWAYS searching for a liner that does not smear,smudge.i tried the gel liner of bobbi brown,waterproof liner of mac...they stll disappoint me.i will check art deco.
