CMG Sale
Look at what I scored at the CMG Sale at Alabang Town Center :) I'm usually a tsinelas-type of girl because my wide feet can't handle heels well, but that has never stopped me from buying pretty and dainty pairs. Hey, a girl can still dream can't she?
I'm always on the look-out for formal shoes because the legal profession tends to be on the conservative side (to put it mildly). I only have a pair of black pumps which I wore over and over again for summer OLA (Office of Legal Aid) and court hearings. So my new pair will definitely be a welcome addition to my meager corporate wardrobe.
Sure it's practical but I'm also loving the details as well, check out the dangling heart. I've always been a sucker for ribbons and shiny things, because they're just so dang purty :p
The best part about this pair is that it was on sale for 499p! As soon as I saw that they had my size, I asked them to hold it while I ran to the ATM. I think the CMG branch at ATC was having a clearance sale because everything in the store was pegged at 499p. I bought this a few weeks ago and last week during the mall's 10 to 10 sale, CMG was still having their 499p sale.
My next purchase, in time for the second semester, would then be one of those shoe cushions from Dr. Scholl or Lily Padz, whichever is cheaper. After all, they're not called killer shoes for nothing.

shubizz boutiques sell shoe cushions. you can check them our at their boutiques at the shops greenhills tel 7267929, sm southmall tel 8003010, shangri-la mall tel 6382069 , sm fairview or sm fairview.
you only need one pair of dr scholl's party feet (500php). they're basically silicone pads that you insert into your shoes. you can transfer them to whatever shoes you're using. you can even wash them.
footpetals on the other hand are more of a commitment. you MUST stick them onto a pair of shoes for them to be effective. i use footpetals heavenly heels and they're much more effective than micropore tape. they cost 359.75php for a pair but they're definitely worth it. no blisters, scrapes or rubbing at all.
my suggestion is to use footpetals on heels you use often. in my case i stuck them onto my OLA shoes (for work) and to use dr scholl's for your other heels (all those pretty killer heels you have in your closet but don't use as often - gimmik shoes, party stuff etc..)
ayoko na mag-band-aid or micropore, natatanggal pa at times kaya kalyo or blister pa rin ang labas mo.
what's more expensive: foot petals or party feet?
parang mas feel ko ang party feet, medical company kasi ang gumawa (dr.scholl's) so mas effective siguro.
kaso ang mahal ng foot petals. P500+ yata yun? mas mahal pa sa shoes. :P micropore na lang :)
ooohh!!! write about them pa rin rich, please :)
i wanna know what to buy, i don't wanna use band-aids anymore on my toes. ang jologs tingnan :C hehehehe
i have party feet. i use them in my OLA shoes. they're great BUT they also work as corks so they tend to make shoes that fit snugly a little too tight. (which is great since my OLA shoes are a tad big)
foot petals are great too, but i use the ones for the heels instead of lilly pads. they really save you from evil heel blisters.
i was going to write about them! *hmph! scurries off to find a new topic* hahaha
i think i've seen party feet in the dr.scholl section of mercury drug store. just don't know which is better though, party feet or the lily pads (available in beauty bar)
hi ella, i don't know if you can get them in the Philippines but i assume you can since i have seen dr scholl products in cebu. Party Feet is made by a company called Scholl. I saw them on ebay and that's where I bought them then a week later I saw them in the grocery shops here.
hi yhal, where do you buy party feet? i've been looking for them since forever:-)
Hey Jill that is so pretty!!
Have you heard of Party Feet? They are shoe cushions made of gel and meant for high heeled shoes.
